Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Interventional Radiologist to join our team at the Philadelphia VA Medical Center (PVAMC) and the Department of Radiology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform minimally invasive image-guided interventional procedures
  • Teach and supervise residents and fellows during procedures and conferences
  • Participate in interdisciplinary conferences with clinical subspecialties
  • Prepare learning materials and lectures for medical students
  • Participate in the Interventional Radiology off-hours on call program
Requirements
  • MD or MD/Ph.D. degree
  • American Board of Radiology certification with CAQ
  • Completion of fellowship training in Interventional Radiology or completion of a residency in Interventional Radiology
Work Environment

The IR division has an active outpatient clinic and consulting service, as well as an inpatient admitting service. The IR Division at Penn has a considerable depth of expertise, performing more than 10,000 procedures annually.
