Radiology Technician

The General Radiology Technologist performs radiographic procedures on patients and assists Radiologists with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performs all routine X-ray studies in general X-ray, using stationary as well as portable X-ray equipment, on a continuous basis using proper techniques, positioning and anatomical labeling.
- Operates digital equipment, using cassettes and CR system.
- Practices proper radiation protection techniques, including wearing film badges, body aprons, and thyroid shields when necessary.
- Ensures that exam rooms are clean, orderly, and with adequate supplies to perform radiographic procedures.
- Maintains equipment in good working order and contacts the Service Company when equipment needs repair or adjustment.
Requirements:
- Amer Registry Radiologic Tech (Required)
- ARRT eligible and registered within one year of hire date required.
- H.S. Diploma/GED (Required)
