Position Summary

We are seeking an accomplished expert in global benefits and compensation to spearhead the development and enhancement of our total rewards philosophy, aligning it with our rapid growth trajectory. This role will collaborate closely with Human Resources and Finance to implement innovative solutions and a compelling total rewards strategy.

Reporting directly to the Chief People Officer, the successful candidate will lead a dynamic team of HR professionals dedicated to making a significant impact at iCapital. We are looking for an individual who is enthusiastic about designing, implementing, managing, and continually assessing our compensation and benefits programs. This person will gather insights from employees, analyze relevant benchmarks, and recommend well-balanced strategies for implementation.

The ideal candidate will possess a strategic mindset while being hands-on in managing all aspects of compensation and benefits, including health, wellness, retirement, and leave programs. A comprehensive understanding of market trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices in compensation and benefits is essential. This individual will conduct regular compensation analyses to ensure market competitiveness and internal equity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor the Total Rewards team, promoting a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Oversee compensation and benefits programs across all countries where iCapital operates.
  • Direct global benchmarking, data analysis, program development, and administrative processes for broad-based compensation and health benefits.
  • Implement compensation structures, including base salary, incentive compensation, and equity administration.
  • Manage the annual compensation review process, ensuring effective administration of the compensation system.
  • Provide analytical support for M&A transactions from due diligence through integration.
  • Update and manage global policy and procedure handbooks.
  • Oversee the Global Mobility program.
  • Assist HR in evaluating job markets and compliance with legal standards.
  • Collaborate with external benefits administrators to enhance offerings and policies.
  • Establish new compensation and benefits programs in new markets as iCapital expands.
  • Administer benefit programs, including retirement plans and wellness initiatives.
  • Manage annual open enrollment processes and develop enrollment campaigns.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws regarding compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of experience, including 7+ years in global roles focused on compensation and benefits.
  • Extensive knowledge of benefits programs, leave policies, and related laws.
  • Experience in designing compensation packages for diverse departments in a dynamic organization.
  • Strong grasp of market dynamics and regulatory changes affecting compensation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experienced with HRIS and payroll systems.
  • Ability to manage and report on employee data with integrity.
  • Experience in change management and leading large-scale initiatives.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.
