Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Technical Operations Specialist to join our team in Greenwich, CT. As a key member of our global operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our trading systems and applications.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and analyze various aspects of our global brokerage system in real-time.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues related to our trading systems and applications.
- Participate in post-incident reviews to identify areas for improvement.
- Provide 2nd-level technical support to internal teams.
- Monitor and troubleshoot batch job scheduler issues.
- Analyze existing business workflows and develop new monitoring tools and automated process monitoring.
- Strong communication skills with English as the primary language.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical discipline.
- Working knowledge of general computing concepts, networking, Linux operating systems, and related technologies.
- Ability to analyze and solve problems promptly and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in a technology position.
- Experience with Unix/Linux style command line interfaces.
- Previous experience with scripting languages (e.g., Shell, Perl, Python).
