About the Opportunity

Yoh is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate execution of payment activities for several vendors and suppliers.

This role offers a unique blend of financial administration, accounting expertise, and customer service skills. You will work closely with our clients to ensure that all financial requirements are met in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Administration:
    • Ensure timely and accurate execution of payment activities for multiple vendors and suppliers.
    • Adhere to required control environment, in line with financial administrative procedures and guidelines, in order to realize correct financial administration.
  • Accounting Expertise:
    • Gather, enter, file, and archive financial data as required.
    • Support the accounting process by gathering, entering, filing, and archiving of financial data.
  • Customer Service:
    • Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless transactions and resolve any issues promptly.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2-5 years of working experience, ideally within Accounts Payable.
  • Associate Degree in Accounting or a related field preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, especially MS Excel; experience with MS Dynamics a plus.
  • Able to communicate written and verbally with other members of the team and with clients/prospective clients.
  • Strong attention to detail and proven ability to handle and organize multiple projects and deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Local to Des Moines, IA OR Wayne, PA (Must be within 50 miles of either office).
  • 3 days/week onsite required for the first 3 months of employment.
  • If extended beyond 3 months, 2 days/week required.
  • Tuesdays required for this team, and there is flexibility for the additional onsite days.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $18.20-$26.00 per hour, depending on your level of experience and qualifications.
