  • Eligibility Verification: Verify the eligibility of individuals based on state and local voting regulations to maintain the integrity of the voter registration process.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain organized records of voter registration activities, including the number of registrations collected and any issues encountered.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with community organizations, schools, and other stakeholders to promote voter registration initiatives and advance our mission.
  • Staying Informed: Stay informed about changes in voter registration laws and requirements to provide accurate and up-to-date information to the public.

Requirements:

  • Civic Commitment: Strong commitment to promoting civic engagement and democratic participation.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with diverse communities.
  • Voter Registration Knowledge: Knowledge of voter registration laws and requirements in the relevant jurisdiction(s).
  • Independence and Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve common goals.
  • Attention to Detail: Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping to maintain the integrity of the voter registration process.
  • Technology Comfort: Comfortable using technology and voter registration software to efficiently manage voter registration activities.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in voter registration, community organizing, or related fields is a plus.

Compensation: $22 per hour
