Advanced Practice Provider

We are seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our Hematology/Oncology team at UNC Health Care. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals with hematologic and oncologic disorders.
Responsibilities- Obtain and review patient health and medical history, perform thorough physical assessments, and interpret diagnostic tests/results.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, including prescribing and ordering evidence-based pharmacological agents, and schedule follow-up management.
- Conduct preventive health screenings, maintain comprehensive patient records, and stay up-to-date on general disease and pathologic processes.
- Lead and participate in quality improvement initiatives, develop new clinical programs, and influence policy-making bodies to improve patient care.
- Completion of an accredited graduate-level Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA) program.
- Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider (i.e., Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, Certified Nurse Midwife) in the state of North Carolina.
- Board certification if required by the Department.
- Hematology/Oncology experience.
