Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Provider to join our team in the Division of Geriatric Medicine at UNC Health. As a key member of our clinical care team, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to our geriatric patients in long-term care settings and in our Geriatrics clinic.

Responsibilities
  • Obtain and review patient health and medical history, perform thorough physical assessments, and develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Prescribe and order evidence-based pharmacological agents, schedule follow-up management, and conduct preventive health screenings.
  • Maintain clear, comprehensive records of patient care and stay up-to-date with general disease and pathologic processes.
  • Lead and participate in projects to improve productivity, patient flow, and overall care quality.
  • Collaborate with clinicians, staff, and students to promote continuity and patient-centered care.
Requirements
  • Completion of an accredited graduate-level Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA) program.
  • Licensure as an Advanced Practice Provider in the state of North Carolina.
  • Board certification if required by the Department.
  • DEA certification.
