Advanced Practice Provider

UNC Health Care is seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Provider to join our team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary healthcare team, you will provide high-quality, cost-effective care to patients within your scope of practice in collaboration with a supervising physician.
Responsibilities:- Obtain relevant health and medical history, perform thorough physical assessments, and review and interpret pertinent diagnostic tests/results.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, including prescribing/ordering of appropriate evidence-based pharmacological agents consistent with departmental guidelines and privileging.
- Actively incorporate evidence-based hospital initiatives to improve patient care.
- Conduct preventive health screenings based on age, history, and patient needs.
- Maintain clear, comprehensive, and concise records of all aspects of patient care.
- Completion of an accredited graduate-level Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA) program.
- Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider (i.e., Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, Certified Nurse Midwife) in the state of North Carolina.
- Board certification if required by the Department.
