Job Title: Data Center Superintendent

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Center Superintendent to oversee the operations and maintenance of our state-of-the-art data center in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operations Management: Oversee daily operations of the data center, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of data center technicians and engineers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Maintenance and Repairs: Coordinate and supervise maintenance activities, including preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of data center equipment.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the data center budget, ensuring cost-effective operations without compromising quality.
  • Vendor Management: Liaise with vendors and contractors to ensure timely delivery of services and equipment.
  • Emergency Response: Develop and implement emergency response plans to address any data center incidents or outages.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on data center performance, issues, and improvements to senior management.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in data center operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of data center infrastructure, including HVAC, power distribution, and network systems.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Data Center Management (DCM), Certified Data Center Professional (CDCP), or similar are preferred.
