Job Description

Commercial Card Account Manager IIIThe Commercial Card Account Manager works closely with Commercial Card customers, Relationship Managers, the Business Loan Center, Treasury Management Sales, and Comerica Technology to support the implementation and optimization of Commercial Card programs. Commercial Card customers, referred to as Program Administrators, are primarily treasury and finance professionals. The Program Administrator relies on the Commercial Card Account Manager to learn how to effectively utilize Comerica's card product and explore all areas of potential card use for the benefit of their organization. The successful candidate will possess strong analytical and accounting skills.
Position Responsibilities: Commercial Card Analytical Support
  • Provide analytical support including portfolio and individual deal profitability, reporting, etc.
  • Develop expert knowledge of department accounting and answer questions.
  • Calculate accruals, process Commercial Card Department's service providers' invoices.
Process Improvement and Projects
  • Participate in meetings with internal partners and vendors to define Best Practices, reduce expense, and continually improve the delivery of the Commercial Card service.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for Commercial Card data and its use by internal and external customers.
Payables Support
  • Work with customers to analyze their accounts payable and convert to card payments.
  • Lead projects to implement automated payment solutions.
  • Contact customers' vendors as needed for implementation and follow-up.
  • Support customers and their vendors' use of payment solutions.
  • Analyze and optimize customers' programs.
