Job Description

**Role Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Operations Manager to join our team at Veolia Environnement SA. As a key member of our manufacturing operations, you will be responsible for leading and managing the activities within the production area to meet safety, quality, production, and cost goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage front-line manufacturing employees to ensure maximum output and quality.
  • Plan, coordinate, and direct production operations to ensure efficient use of resources and minimize downtime.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business results and improve overall performance.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory quality system requirements and company policies.
  • Analyze and diagnose machine and tooling problems to minimize downtime and interruption of schedules.
  • Develop and implement corrective actions to address quality and productivity issues.
  • Lead special projects and initiatives to drive business growth and improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing, including 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and motivate others.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive business results.
  • Experience with Lean Six Sigma and process improvement methodologies.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations and quality systems.

Desired Characteristics:

  • BS degree in engineering from an accredited college or university.
  • 5 years of experience in manufacturing, including 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to lead small teams.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Effective problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to drive business results.
