Job Title: Senior Risk Management Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Risk Management Consultant to join our team at the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce. As a key member of our Third Party Risk Management team, you will play a critical role in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks associated with third-party relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the development and implementation of our Third Party Risk Management program, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and provide recommendations for mitigating risks associated with third-party relationships.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address potential risks and control gaps.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including third-party vendors and internal business partners.
  • Provide regular reporting and updates to senior management and governance committees on Third Party Risk status, trends, and mitigation strategies.
Requirements:
  • 2-4 years of experience in Third Party Risk Management or a similar operational risk area.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to critically think and communicate complex information effectively.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and other data analysis tools, including Power BI and Tableau.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with diverse groups.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
