Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Housing Program Coordinator to join our team at Paul Edward's Management and Consulting. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to the public, managing waitlists, processing intake applications, and performing other essential functions of the Housing Choice Voucher Program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provides general information to the public and interested parties, greets visitors, and responds to inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Manages waitlists, processes intake applications, and performs other essential functions of the Housing Choice Voucher Program.
  • Receives, sorts, and distributes mail and faxes in a timely and accurate manner, processes outgoing mail, and maintains files, including participant records, forms, and verifications.
  • Assists in gathering information for preparation of reports for Public Housing Authorities and HUD purposes, prepares contracts and documentation relating to resident occupancy, and performs other duties as assigned.
  • Works effectively in a team environment, communicates professionally and effectively in both written and verbal form, and maintains a neat, clean, and professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; experience working in an environment that requires a high volume of interaction with the public preferred.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively in both written and verbal form in English; bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.
  • Knowledge of general mathematics, spelling, punctuation, and grammar; ability to use various computer programs accurately and efficiently, including Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Ability to work in a typical office setting, operate standard office equipment, and lift and carry objects and materials up to 25 lbs.
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record required.
