Medical Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Support Specialist to join our team at Valhalla Foot & Ankle Specialists PLLC.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent administrative and clinical skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage administrative duties, including scheduling appointments and maintaining accurate records.
- Perform routine clinical tasks, such as taking vital signs and preparing patients for exams.
- Communicate with insurance companies to ensure proper billing procedures.
- Escort patients to exam rooms and provide exceptional customer service.
- Document patient medical history and HPI, as well as obtain radiograph images of the foot and ankle.
- Set up for minor procedures and manage orders for diabetic shoes.
- Monitor medical supplies and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in healthcare administration or a related field.
- Familiarity with medical billing procedures and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work effectively as part of a team.
