Essential Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in finance, particularly in the realm of Department of Defense (DoD) government contracting. As the Finance Director, you will play a pivotal role in advising company executives with comprehensive financial insights while leading a skilled finance team to ensure exemplary management of accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies through detailed financial analysis (including value chain assessments, modeling, ROI calculations, and cash flow analysis) to assist business leaders in making informed strategic decisions.
  • Oversee forecasting and business analytics to guarantee precise predictions of volume and revenue.
  • Analyze performance metrics, recommend enhancements, and devise solutions to meet organizational objectives.
  • Monitor external performance indicators to guide critical decisions, maintaining a customer-centric approach to financial management.
  • Effectively communicate findings, highlighting implications, risks, and opportunities.
  • Deliver expert analyses utilizing advanced financial models and metrics.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance; CPA designation is preferred.
  • A minimum of 7 years of senior financial experience.
  • Proficient in Annual Business Planning and strategic financial thinking.
  • Strong background in P&L management, revenue growth, and forecasting within DoD-related sectors.
  • Ability to assess business objectives and analyze financial data to provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent change management skills with a focus on innovative business solutions.
  • Thorough understanding of accounting principles and regulations.
  • Demonstrated experience in Defense contracting with knowledge of CAS, FAR, and DCAA compliance.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, particularly DELTEK COSTPOINT.
  • Outstanding attention to detail, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Capability to excel both independently and collaboratively within a team.

SECURITY CLEARANCE:

The selected candidate may be required to obtain a security clearance from the DoD. Employment may depend on the successful acquisition and maintenance of this clearance.
