The role entails the management and execution of professional audio and music composition standards for multimedia projects at the Center for Teaching Innovation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop visual assets as required (Intro and Outro sequences for videos, Lower thirds, Infographics, and any other graphics for video content).
  • Compose, record, mix, and master original music tailored for multimedia projects. Utilize virtual instrument libraries and recorded audio as necessary.
  • Design and implement effective solutions to audio requirements throughout the pre-production, production, and post-production phases.
  • Oversee the inventory of audio software and hardware to ensure departmental needs are met for sustainability and performance.
  • Collaborate with educators and students to guarantee that high-quality audio standards are achieved for multimedia content.
  • Maintain and expand a comprehensive library of music and sound effects for integration into video productions.
  • Engage in departmental meetings and collaborative groups to support the overarching mission of the Center for Teaching Innovation.
  • Stay informed about current professional audio industry standards and practices.
  • Ensure proper care and maintenance of field and studio equipment.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Professional experience in digital audio production is essential.
  • Familiarity with Steinberg's Nuendo Digital Audio Workstation is preferred.
