Job Title: Regional Distributed Organizing Director

The Democratic National Committee (DNC) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Distributed Organizing Director to join our National Distributed Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in building a large voter contact and recruitment organization across the country.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for building a distributed organizing team, focusing on voter contact and recruitment in targeted battleground states.
  • Supervise a team of distributed organizers, providing coaching and guidance to ensure they meet ambitious voter contact goals and recruit volunteers to take action for Democrats.
  • Design and execute a streamlined system for managing phone call and text campaigns, ensuring high-energy and high-output phone banks and text banks.
  • Maintain and execute against rigorous and efficient volunteer systems, including question-and-answer support, volunteer onboarding, trainings, and daily recruitment.
  • Develop a clear volunteer experience from onboarding to leadership, and manage a team to recruit, cultivate, and escalate volunteers at every level of engagement.
Qualifications:
  • At least 2 cycles of experience as an organizer or digital organizer, with a minimum of 1 cycle of management experience of a team of 4+ entry-level staff.
  • Clear experience building systems and structures for staff and volunteers.
  • Strong proficiency with organizing tools such as Mobilize America and VAN.
  • Experience working with predictive dialer tools and texting tools.
  • Familiarity with Slack, Zoom (or equivalent), and Google Drive.
  • Strong virtual management, communication, and writing skills.
  • Able to manage staff and volunteer programs across time zones.
Travel Requirements:

Low, 10% travel required.

Salary:

$78,000 annualized salary, with the possibility of additional compensation based on performance.
