Patient Care Technician

As a Patient Care Technician at IASIS Healthcare, you will play a crucial role in delivering compassionate and personalized care to our patients. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, you will engage in various direct patient care activities that address the personal needs and comforts of those in your care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide essential support to patients by assisting with daily living activities.
- Monitor and document patient vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to enhance the patient experience and promote recovery.
Work Schedule:
This position is offered on a per diem basis, allowing for flexibility in your work hours.
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
- Candidates should have at least one year of experience as a nursing assistant or be currently enrolled in a nursing program, having completed the 'Fundamentals of Nursing I & II' courses.
- A valid Certified Nursing Assistant license is required or proof of enrollment in an accredited nursing program.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with computer systems and healthcare software is advantageous.
