Job Summary

Brockton Hospital is seeking a skilled Clinical Care Assistant to join our team. As a Clinical Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our nursing staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Registered Nurses (RNs) in the care and treatment of patients, ensuring a high level of patient satisfaction and safety.
  • Perform various duties to support the nursing team, including but not limited to:
    • Preparing patients for exams and procedures
    • Assisting with sterile field procedures
    • Maintaining a clean and organized treatment room
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, families, and visitors, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with the nursing team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Graduate of a certification or technical program in nursing or currently enrolled in a school of nursing.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Experience in an inpatient and/or outpatient clinic setting, with a focus on patient care and support.
  • Front desk experience, including phone and computer skills.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with the nursing team and other hospital staff.
