About the Position:

We are seeking a highly qualified Litigation Legal Assistant to become an integral part of our esteemed legal team. In this role, you will provide essential support to our attorneys throughout all stages of the litigation process. Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation and oversight of cases from initiation to conclusion.
  • Coordinate and manage schedules, including hearings, depositions, and meetings.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and experts.
  • Support attorneys in preparing for hearings, trials, and meetings.
  • Maintain organized case files, databases, and tracking systems.
  • Ensure adherence to court rules and deadlines.
  • Perform necessary administrative tasks, such as filing, copying, and scanning.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Litigation Legal Assistant or in a similar legal administrative role, preferably in commercial or business litigation.
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Proficient in trial and hearing preparation.
  • Strong understanding of federal and state court rules, procedures, and protocols.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking abilities.
  • Familiarity with e-filing in state and federal courts.
  • Solid understanding of legal terminology and principles.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
  • High level of professionalism and a strong work ethic.
