Job Summary

An Industrial Parts Manufacturing company in the Buford, GA area is seeking a Human Resources (HR) Generalist to join their team. This role requires a Bachelor's degree and 3 years of related experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Payroll Processing: Execute timely and accurate processing of payroll, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Onboarding and Offboarding: Coordinate the onboarding process for new employees, including paperwork, benefits enrollment, and IT setup. Handle offboarding processes, such as termination, removal from health insurance, and 401(k) retirement plan.
  • HR Support: Provide HR support to employees, including answering questions, resolving issues, and communicating with HR consultants and employment lawyers as needed.
  • Benefits Administration: Manage 401(k) activities, interact with the 401(k) provider, and ensure proper handling of employee enrollments, distributions, rollovers, and payroll contributions.
  • Employee Inquiries: Respond to employee inquiries about benefits, payroll, and other HR-related matters.
  • Document Management: Verify I-9 documents, maintain employment authorization files, and maintain personnel files.
  • Office Administration: Order supplies for employees and the office, and handle building maintenance projects and inspections.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in communication, public relations, business administration, or related field preferred.
  • Experience: 3 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Skills: Accurate data entry skills, attention to detail, proactive communication, and ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.
