Job Description

The LEED Project Manager is responsible for administrative functions supporting green building certification projects from construction to close-out. These projects are focused on LEED for new design and construction serving the commercial and public sectors.

This position would be ideal for someone with a few years of commercial construction experience looking to increase their expertise in sustainable construction management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend LEED field assessments with the construction team and provide guidance and clarification.
  • Collect and review documentation required for Materials and Resources credits and other LEED credit categories.
  • Participate in meetings with AEC representatives to provide progress reports and escalate issues to management as needed.
  • Produce weekly and monthly LEED-related reports required by the client.

Requirements:

  • Practical experience from at least 1 LEED BD+C commercial construction project.
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, sustainability, architecture, engineering, or other programs relevant to construction.
  • Ability to read building floor plans, site plans, and zoning maps.
  • Self-directed, organized, and able to work with minimum supervision.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong analytical and organizational abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Located in Central Florida.
  • LEED AP Building Design + Construction certification (LEED AP BD+C).
  • 3+ years of commercial construction management experience.
  • Bilingual, English required/Spanish preferred.
