Job Summary

V2X is seeking a highly skilled Software Asset Manager to support the management of software assets associated with a large-scale program focused on sustainment of DoD military training systems.

The successful candidate will be responsible for defining, implementing, and managing Software Asset Management (SAM) processes, ensuring consistent execution across the program, and continuously reviewing and improving SAM processes to align with program goals.

This role will also involve maintaining software license compliance and adherence to vendor agreements, developing and enforcing software usage policies and standards, and analyzing and reporting on software asset expenditures.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SAM best practices and policies, experience with software compliance and inventory management, and proficiency in reporting and analytics to provide actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define, implement, and manage SAM processes
  • Maintain software license compliance and adherence to vendor agreements
  • Develop and enforce software usage policies and standards
  • Analyze and report on software asset expenditures
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and optimization

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in software asset management or a related field
  • Strong understanding of SAM best practices and policies
