Business Development Representative

UTHealth Houston is seeking a highly motivated Business Development Representative to join our Ob/Gyn department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for marketing, education, and outreach of all women's services to internal and external referral sources. Your primary goal will be to ensure timely access to specialty services and promote community awareness of women's services throughout Greater Houston.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a sales strategy based on physician needs and interests.
Provide department leadership with oral and written reports on targeted physician needs, challenges, and potential opportunities.
Coordinate with credentialing and data management regarding physician information.
Monitor and report on physician satisfaction through personal visitations, telemarketing, and other client contacts.
Requirements:
Thorough knowledge of physician services and sub-specialties.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Ability to conceptualize and develop effective marketing and relationship development strategies.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or Nursing, or equivalent experience.
Five years of successful medical sales or related experience; sales experience with physicians and staff is preferred.
