Job Summary

As an Eppendorf Territory Sales Manager, you will be responsible for promoting the sale of Eppendorf North America products within your assigned territory. You will travel throughout the territory to call on established and prospective customers, creating demand for our products and soliciting orders. You will also follow up on sales leads, develop lists of prospective customers, and train distributor personnel on the proper function and usage of our products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote the sale of Eppendorf North America products within assigned territory to meet budgeted sales goals.
  • Travel throughout assigned territory to call on established and prospective customers to create demand for Eppendorf North America's products and/or solicit orders.
  • Follow up and process sales leads based on information received from company trade shows, marketing campaigns, telephone inquiries, and other sources.
  • Develop list of prospective customers on a local level.
  • Demonstrate product samples to end-user customers and distributors.
  • Train distributor personnel on proper function and usage of Eppendorf North America products.
  • Attend trade exhibits and distributor shows for the purpose of promoting products.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or one to two years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid driver's license required. Must maintain a good driving record. Good credit standing and credit card to pay business travel expenses.
