Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Executive to join our team at Stericycle. As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for aggressively selling document destruction services to prospective customers in a specific territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales and Business Development: Develop and maintain a pipeline of opportunities for the assigned territory, and develop and maintain a sales strategy for the assigned territory.
  • Customer Engagement: Develop customer lead activity through telephone and door-to-door cold-calling, appointment setting, and direct mail campaigns.
  • Product Expertise: Maintain a personal level of expertise of Shred-it services and competitive solutions.
  • Reporting and Compliance: Participate in all sales and other training provided by Shred-it, and implement and demonstrate best practices to sell Shred-it solutions to prospective and existing customers.
  • Special Projects: Participate in special projects and promotional campaigns under the direction of the District Sales Manager.
  • Customer Service: Liaise with customers to understand their requirements with respect to products and services that the business currently offers or is planning to offer, and establish personal relationships with current and potential customers in the assigned territory.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • Experience: 2+ years of sales experience in a business-to-business environment.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
