Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage freezer operations to ensure efficient and safe processing of frozen goods.
  • Develop and implement training programs for associates to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their duties effectively.
  • Monitor and analyze productivity metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
  • Provide feedback and coaching to associates to help them improve their performance and productivity.
  • Assist in updating and documenting process changes and training plans.
  • Work on the floor in a production role during non-peak periods as required.
  • Adhere to all safety, security, and SQF requirements.
  • Perform other duties and work in other departments as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience.
  • Ability to communicate with employees at all levels (peers, management & employees).
  • Previous warehouse management system and SAP knowledge preferred.

Work Environment

The Freezer Lead will work in a cold storage environment with temperatures ranging from -10° to 40°. The role will also require the ability to lift up to 30lbs continuously and 50lbs on occasion, as well as walk and stand for extended periods.
