Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Financial Planning Specialist to join our team at Command Holdings. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in supporting the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) Office of the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with assessment and analysis work to improve financial planning, execution, reporting, and analysis across all phases of the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution cycle.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide analytical and subject matter expertise to the CFO and subordinate offices.
  • Coordinate with internal and external customers to develop process improvements and communicate new processes to stakeholders.
  • Evaluate and ensure timely billing and collections of both federal and non-federal debts in accordance with the DoD Financial Management Regulations (FMR), Federal Accounting System Advisory Board (FASAB), and the Statements of Federal Financial Accounting Standards (SFFAS).
  • Analyze data and identify solutions to improve the effectiveness and efficiency for processing transactions.
  • Conduct special cost studies and perform benchmarking activities.
  • Develop and maintain positive communications with program management, client stakeholders, and key personnel.
  • Update and document current Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs); implement approved processes.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree or six years of experience in government accounting, along with a current, active TS security clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI w/CI Poly. You should also possess outstanding communication skills, influencing abilities, and client focus, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
