Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Account Executive to join our team at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for providing exceptional sales, marketing, and account management services to our Regional Pathology Services clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth and exceed client expectations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including physicians, hospitals, reference laboratories, and home health agencies.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and market developments to provide informed and effective solutions to clients.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including laboratory technicians, lab managers, pathologists, and sales teams, to achieve business objectives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Biomedical Sciences, Medical Technology, or related field.
  • 3 years of experience in medical and/or laboratory sales, including related marketing and account management.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to handle client issues and provide effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Biomedical Sciences, or Medical Technology.
  • Experience in sales, account management, and/or marketing of biomedical, molecular, anatomic, and/or clinical diagnostics.
  • Advanced industry-specific knowledge, including molecular diagnostics, cytogenetics, and emerging technologies.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and growth.
