As an Adult Advanced Practice Provider with UofL Health Jewish/Heart Hospital, you will have the chance to work with a multidisciplinary critical care team including nursing staff, social workers, respiratory therapists, nutritionists, physical/occupation/speech therapists, and pharmacists to provide patient-focused care.

The successful candidate will be able to handle multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment, recognizing deviations from normal in the physical assessment and working in collaboration with a physician in formulating treatment plans for health problems and follow-up.

We offer a competitive salary range of $125,000 - $155,000 per year, depending on experience, along with benefits such as medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.

Essential Functions:

  • Performs comprehensive History & Physical, Consults, In-patient daily progress notes on patients in ICU and step-down units in conjunction with collaborating physician(s).
  • Assesses the physical and psychosocial status of clients by means of interview, health history, physical examination, and diagnostic studies.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
