Job Summary:

This role is an exciting opportunity to lead the Advance Practice Provider (APP) team in our Emergency Medicine Observation Unit. As a key member of our leadership team, you will provide strategic guidance and support to ensure operational efficiencies and exceptional patient care.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Recruit, hire, and train APP staff, establishing work schedules and supervising staff performance
  • Conduct performance evaluations, determine quality activities, and disseminate designs for assigned staff
  • Work closely with the ED Observation medical director to obtain key performance measures and coordinate clinical scheduling
  • Track APP productivity, provide reports to management, and offer primary care to patients in the ED Observation Unit
  • Assist in evaluating and treating patients, conducting patient interviews, collecting diagnostic data, and performing physical examinations and specialized procedures under physician direction

**Requirements:**

  • Advanced Nursing or Physician Assistant degree and licensure (PA or NP)
  • A minimum of five years' experience in emergency medicine or observation medicine preferred
