Advanced Practice Nurse Educator

Norton Healthcare offers a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a Clinical Nurse Educator to join our surgical team. As a key member of our nursing education department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality education and training to our nursing staff, with a focus on promoting the Norton Healthcare nursing professional practice model.
In this role, you will assess, develop, plan, present, and evaluate educational activities that meet the needs of our surgical team. You will also collaborate with management, staff, and advanced practice registered nurses to achieve goals related to learning and competence.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing education, with experience in designing and delivering educational programs that meet the needs of diverse learner populations. You will also need excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
A Bachelor Degree and one year of experience as a registered nurse are minimum requirements for this position. A Master Degree and experience in academic or clinical education, practice governance structures, or in an area of nursing specialty are highly desirable.
