We are excited to announce an opportunity for a highly skilled Cardiovascular Critical Care Advanced Practice Provider to join our team at UofL Jewish Heart Hospital. As a critical care advanced practice provider, you will collaborate with our experienced intensivists and surgical teams to deliver high-quality patient care and make a meaningful impact in the lives of our patients.

Responsibilities

As a member of our team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with CVICU intensivists and surgical teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Participating in daily rounds to assess patient status and identify potential issues.
  • Triage transfers to the floor and ensure timely bed availability for post-operative cases.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A graduate degree from an accredited nursing or physician assistant program.
  • Board certification as an APRN or PA-C.
  • Current licensure as an APRN or PA in the state of Kentucky.
  • ACLS/BLS certification.
  • Ability to obtain DEA certification upon employment.
