About the Position

PSN Affiliates is seeking a seasoned Operating Room (OR) Nursing Manager to lead our team in San Antonio, TX.

Job Summary

The OR Nursing Manager will provide strategic leadership and management to all nursing personnel and ancillary staff within an assigned area or unit. This role involves overseeing clinical functions, operations, quality management, personnel management, fiscal management, and process improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership and Management: Develop and achieve goals aligned with the company's objectives, implementing processes for enhanced clinic operations and practices for ongoing quality improvement.
  • Clinical Operations: Ensure personnel meet quality standards of customer satisfaction and patient care, adhering to productivity standards for assigned areas/units.
  • Quality Improvement: Participate in ongoing quality improvement activities to enhance the delivery of clinical care, identifying operational needs and managing equipment and supplies accordingly.
  • Staff Development: Collaborate in developing learning opportunities and skill development for all staff, analyzing and maintaining an effective and efficient nursing care delivery system.
  • Budget Planning: Participate in planning, preparing, and prioritizing budgets for assigned areas of responsibility, monitoring compliance and investigating variances.
  • Time and Attendance: Manage employee time and attendance.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Bachelor of Science (BSN) degree preferred;
  • A current and valid registered nurse license required;
  • CNOR certification preferred;
  • CPR certification required;
  • At least 5 years' total clinical experience, with two years in nursing administration/OR management, and computer skills;
  • Experience in outpatient healthcare operations or similar service environments preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a $120,000 - $150,000 per year salary range, depending on experience, plus benefits including:
