We are currently seeking a Security Systems Installation Specialist who possesses a strong background in electronics or electromechanical engineering. This role involves providing expert service on our security technology products at various client locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install security systems including intrusion detection, fire alarms, CCTV, and access control.
  • Preferred certification in Lenel.
  • Execute electrical wiring tasks in challenging environments such as attics and crawl spaces, which may involve drilling and aerial runs.
  • Ensure all wiring, connections, and installations meet customer and contractual specifications.
  • Collaborate with the Installation Team Lead or Project Manager to schedule work activities and ensure timely equipment delivery.
  • Conduct tests to verify the operational status of newly installed systems and components.
  • Troubleshoot installations to confirm compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Maintain a professional appearance in both personal and vehicle presentation.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and budgetary constraints during work assignments.
  • Foster positive customer relationships and assist in contract retention efforts.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle proprietary information according to company policies.
  • Stay updated on advancements in products and technology by participating in training programs.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience in installing and servicing security systems.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Vocational/Technical Degree in electrical, security, or computer systems preferred.
  • NICET Certification is a plus.
  • Experience with IP Video and IT systems is advantageous.
  • Ability to climb ladders up to 24 feet and lift items weighing up to 75 pounds.
  • Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours and weekend emergencies.
  • A valid state driver's license without restrictions is mandatory.
