Top Certified Electronics Systems Engineer

**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly skilled Top Certified Electronics Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team at Convergint. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, programming, testing, repairing, and servicing a wide variety of electronic systems, including security, fire alarm & life safety, and building automation systems.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Installs, programs, tests, repairs, and services a substantial variety of systems and equipment, including security, fire alarm & life safety, and/or building automation.
- Provides technical support and training to customers, ensuring maximum customer satisfaction.
- Reads complex blueprints, schematics, manuals, and other specifications to determine installation requirements.
- Operates systems to demonstrate equipment, commission new systems, analyze performance, and identify malfunctions.
- Writes non-routine programs of substantial variety and complexity for systems.
- Acts as our customers' best service provider at all times, ensuring Convergint is the customer's first choice for service.
- May provide custom systems integrations, detailed systems upgrade planning and execution, systems audits and consultation, and/or database management and manipulation.
**Requirements:**
**Education:** College degree, trade school, or equivalent experience.
**Minimum Experience:** 5-7 years relevant experience.
**Preferred Experience:** Experience in 1 or more of the following industries: electronic, fire alarm & life safety, and/or building automation.
**What You'll Need:**
- Exceptional customer focus and ability to regularly work under pressure.
- Strong technical skills and experience related to building automation systems, fire alarm systems, and/or electronic security systems.
- Advanced mechanical and electrical aptitude and ability to read blueprints and drawings.
- Highly proficient computer skills, including familiarity with MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
**Estimated Salary:** $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
