Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Spa Front Desk Agent to join our team at Sanibel Harbour Marriott Resort and Spa. As a key member of our spa team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, processing transactions, and ensuring a seamless experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Check-in and Check-out: Process all guest check-ins by confirming reservations and processing payments.
  • Transaction Processing: Process all payment types, including room charges, cash, checks, debit, and credit.
  • Guest Communication: Answer, record, and process all guest calls, messages, requests, questions, or concerns.
  • Department Coordination: Coordinate with other spa departments and providers to track the readiness of services.
  • Guest Information: Supply guests with directions and information regarding property and local areas of interest.
  • Reporting and Administration: Run daily reports, identify any special requests, and check reports for accuracy.
  • Cash Handling: Cash guests' personal checks and traveler's checks.
  • Banking and Accounting: Count the bank at the beginning and end of the shift and balance and drop receipts according to Accounting specifications.
Requirements
  • Work Permit and Paperwork: Candidates must have the work permit and proper paperwork to be employed in the USA.
  • Company Policies and Procedures: Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the supervisor/manager.
  • Guest Service Standards: Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guests' service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; thank guests with genuine appreciation.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Speak with others using clear and professional language; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette; develop and maintain positive working relationships with others.
  • Physical Demands: Stand, or walk for an extended period of time; move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 20 pounds without assistance.
