The Field Nurse plays a crucial role in administering professional nursing care to patients in need of in-home support.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate the patient and family situation to identify nursing and health-related concerns.
- Provide education to patients and families about their health conditions, self-care methods, and preventive measures.
- Timely documentation of all nursing services rendered to patients, along with periodic reports to ensure coordinated care and compliance with regulations.
- Guide and oversee patients, caregivers, and home health aides in various aspects of patient care as necessary.
- Carry out additional related tasks as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in Homecare or Long-term care is preferred.
- Possession of a valid New York State RN License.
- BSN is preferred.
- Strong assessment and clinical skills are essential.
- Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin/Cantonese/Chinese is preferred.
- Professional Liability Insurance is required.
- A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle for field use.
Compensation Structure
- Initial assessment visit = $130.00
- Reassessment visit = $100.00
- Resumption of Care visit = $100.00
- Supervisory visit = $80.00
**Per Diem positions are available.
