Job Title: Bilingual Therapist

At The New York Foundling, we are committed to providing high-quality services to our clients. We are seeking a skilled Bilingual Therapist to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Bilingual Therapist will provide clinical treatment to clients using methods compatible with our assigned model. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field, and be bilingual in Spanish and English.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct assessments, including review of referral information, identifying and engaging key participants, and identifying systemic strengths and weaknesses.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide direct clinical treatment to clients.
  • Maintain clear and concise documentation of treatment efforts.
  • Participate in all model training, supervision, consultation activities, and staff meetings.
  • Build relationships with community stakeholders to ensure cooperation among service providers.
  • Manage extensive documentation requirements to comply with various mandates.
  • Timely documentation of contacts and case progress in electronic health records.
  • Adopt a strength-focused approach with families, stakeholders, and within the program/treatment team.
  • Ability to accompany families/clients to psychiatric appointments and other community needs appointments.
  • Attend weekly supervision and consultation meetings.
  • Manage extensive travel requirements.
  • Provide 24/7 coverage during the week and participate in a weekend on-call rotational schedule.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English.

Salary Range: $67,250-$72,250/year
