Job Summary

Cedars-Sinai is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse III to join our team in the Heart Transplant Program. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to patients undergoing heart transplantation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Retrieve and record diagnostic test results from Cedars-Sinai or community medical facilities
  • Prepare for lab review with MD/Coordinators and enter orders for clinic visits
  • Communicate with patients regarding test results and medication changes
  • Perform data entry into the transplant database and manage pharmacy refill requests
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program required; BSN preferred
  • Current, unrestricted California RN license required
  • BLS from the American Heart Association required
  • Specialty certification required (or willing to obtain within one year of start date)
  • A minimum of 3 years of acute care nursing experience required; ICU, Transplant floor, or Cardiac experience preferred
