Medical Support Specialist

The Medical Support Specialist at Women & Infants Hospital provides clinical and office support to the department. Key responsibilities include direct patient interaction, maintaining office systems, and assisting with various clinical functions and procedures. Additionally, the specialist will provide clerical support to staff and perform other job-related duties as required.
Requirements- High school graduate with certification as a Medical Assistant
- Required CPR certification and 3-5 years' experience in an administrative/medical setting
- Knowledge of medical terminology, computer competency, and strong typing skills
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated maturity in working with diverse patient populations
- Proficiency in the English language and flexibility in hours, with possible weekends and evenings
- Bilingual required, with Spanish-language proficiency preferred
