Radar Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Radar Systems Engineer to join our team at SimVentions. The ideal candidate will provide support for USMC radar systems, including modernization and development of future systems.

This position offers the opportunity for telework in the future, depending on the candidate's established trust with the team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leverage standard systems engineering principles for the modernization and development of USMC radar systems
  • Focusing on continued development, upgrading, production, and fielding of future capabilities integrated into specific radar systems
  • Support the development of standard systems engineering products including requirements development and tracking
  • Provide technical inputs and data to the development of systems engineering documents
  • Support the conduct of SETR events using government-provided websites and tools
Requirements:
  • 3-6 years of relevant experience in Systems Engineering supporting acquisitions or defense engineering projects
Preferred Skills & Experience:
  • Knowledge and experience working with DoDAF compliant architecture products
Education:
  • BS in Engineering or related technical discipline. (+5 years of combination of education, professional training, or relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of degrees)
Clearance:
  • An ACTIVE Secret Clearance is required for this position.
Travel:
  • 20% Primarily within CONUS travel.
