Position OverviewJob Summary

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Deliver engineering and programmatic assistance to the Project Management Office (PMO).
  • Evaluate designs and/or production of material solutions from government and civilian contractors, offering insights and assessments of proposed solutions to aid in decision-making processes.
  • Collaborate with teams to identify and assess capabilities that address urgent operational needs.
  • Facilitate demonstrations of capabilities to validate providers' documentation and solutions.
  • Assist in the collection, analysis, transformation, dissemination, visualization, and management of engineering-related programmatic documentation that supports command decisions and briefings. This includes the development of documents such as Systems Engineering Plans, Program Protection Plans, Baselines, Software Plans, Security Classification Guides, Clinger-Cohen Act packages, and Technical Review Action Plans for Systems Engineering Technical Review (SETR) events, focusing on Non-Developmental Item (NDI) Integration Reviews (NDIR) and other necessary documentation to fulfill acquisition requirements.
  • Support demonstrations and preparations for integration, fielding, and transition.
  • Provide analysis and support during production and post-production phases.
  • Assist in configuration management of systems through the preparation, review, and tracking of Engineering Change Proposals.
  • Contribute to the development of requirements traceability.
  • Support activities related to Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS).
  • Engage in other engineering management tasks as needed to support the acquisition of systems under the purview of UCS IPT.
Qualifications

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
  • Experience with communication systems to support acquisition, testing, evaluation, certification, and integration.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
  • Familiarity with the DoD Acquisitions process.
  • Knowledge of radar systems and vehicle integration.
IMPORTANT NOTE:

This position requires U.S. citizenship and a U.S. government security clearance at the Secret level with Top Secret eligibility.
