Job Summary

**Crane Operator - NCCCO Certified**

We are seeking a skilled Crane Operator to join our team at Continental Heavy Civil Corp. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating cranes on barge platforms to lift, move, and position materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • **Daily Equipment Inspections**: Conduct thorough inspections of all equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • **Safe Operation**: Operate cranes safely and efficiently, following all safety procedures and protocols.
  • **Training and Evaluation**: Provide training and evaluation to team members on equipment use and operation.
  • **Job Safety Analysis**: Implement Job Safety Analysis for all lifting operations to ensure a safe working environment.
  • **Pre-Use Checks and Maintenance**: Perform pre-use checks and maintenance on all equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • **Lifting Operations Coordination**: Coordinate lifting operations with team members to ensure safe and efficient lifting.
  • **Damage or Issues Reporting**: Report any damage or issues with equipment promptly to ensure timely repairs.
  • **Variety of Crane Operations**: Operate various types of cranes, including conventional and hydraulic cranes.
  • **Additional Duties**: Perform other assigned duties as required.
Requirements
  • **Education**: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • **Clearance**: Drug screening and E-Verify clearance.
  • **Teamwork and Communication**: Ability to work independently or in a team, with strong communication skills.
  • **Language**: Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • **Physical Capabilities**: Ability to work in different weather conditions and possess physical capabilities for job duties.
