Job Summary:

Crane Aerospace & Electronics is seeking an Electronics Assembler to perform basic and routine electronic or hybrid assembly operations on components, printed circuit boards, or subassemblies in accordance with military and/or other assembly standards.

The successful candidate will work with supervision, using blueprints, visual aids, wiring lists, verbal and/or written instructions to assemble electronic components, subassemblies, or completed assemblies.

Responsibilities will include performing skilled soldering of circuit cards, touch up, jumper wires, through hole, and mag wire with use of microscope, executing hand assembly of cable assemblies, pin interface into connectors, masking/de-masking, crimping, stripping, riveting, touch up paint & chemical conversion, bonding and mixing chemical.

The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of Assembly experience in a manufacturing environment, with knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.

Strong verbal and written communication, good reading comprehension, and basic computer skills are required. Accurate color vision, near vision, and depth perception, as well as manipulative skills, including finger and manual dexterity, are also necessary.

Additional responsibilities may include cross-training to work on at least 2 products, practicing safe work habits as established by OSHA and Crane policy, and satisfactorily completing job-related company training courses.
