Job Summary

The Quality Inspector will be responsible for identifying problems with workmanship or process damage. This includes ensuring the quality of produced assemblies by physical and visual inspection to verify characteristics against predetermined specifications, drawings, or standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Works from blueprints, customer drawings, engineering change notices, military standards, and established operating procedures to determine acceptance, rejection, or rework requirements of assembled units or supplier components
  • Conducts visual inspections with a high level of accuracy to verify physical properties
  • Ensures the build and test manufacturing process has been completed
  • Proactively communicates errors and systemic trends to the quality organization
  • Enters data into software tools
  • Performs other tasks assigned by your supervisor or management
Requirements
  • Experience: 0-4 years experience as a Quality Inspector or Operator in an electronics manufacturing environment required
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Competence to perform inspections using calipers, thread gages, scales, micro-hite
  • General PC skills, including Word, Excel, and Oracle
  • Ability to interpret drawings and part specifications
  • Accurate color vision and depth perception
  • Vision corrected to 20/20
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment, including interfacing with Order Management, Internal Quality Engineers, Customers, and other Internal Management personnel
