Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Coordinator to join our team at Salt Lake City. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our extensive building systems, including HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing, and fire safety.



This is a challenging role that requires a proactive problem-solver with a knack for tackling complex building system issues. You will prioritize and handle emergency and routine trouble calls, ensuring that repairs are completed efficiently and effectively.



As a Facilities Maintenance Coordinator, you will act as the personal representative of the Director of Engineering and Maintenance, overseeing a team of maintenance supervisors, technicians, and skilled workers. Your responsibilities will include direct repair work on equipment, coordinating with local utility companies and contractors, and operating and monitoring a complex Computerized Building Management System.



This role demands a deep understanding of safety standards, FAA regulations, and the ability to work in high-stress situations. If you have a minimum of eight years of journey-level work experience, supervisory skills, and the necessary certifications, we encourage you to apply.



About the Position:


  • Prioritize and handle emergency and routine trouble calls
  • Ensure that repairs are completed efficiently and effectively
  • Act as the personal representative of the Director of Engineering and Maintenance
  • Oversee a team of maintenance supervisors, technicians, and skilled workers
  • Direct repair work on equipment
  • Coordinate with local utility companies and contractors
  • Operate and monitor a complex Computerized Building Management System


Working Conditions:

This role requires moderately heavy physical activity, including pushing, pulling, or lifting heavy weights up to 100 pounds. You may also be required to stand, walk, or sit in uncomfortable positions for extended periods and work in ceilings, on tops of ladders, bucket lifts, scissor lifts, and roofs in heights exceeding 100 feet.



High exposure to disagreeable elements such as dust, fumes, noise, dampness, cold, heat, chemicals, or grease is also expected. Considerable stress under emergency situations, time constraints of tenants and airport operations, and possible injury and/or death are also part of this role.
