Facilities Maintenance Coordinator

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Maintenance Coordinator to join our team at Salt Lake City. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prioritize and complete emergency and routine maintenance tasks, ensuring minimal disruption to tenants and passengers.
  • Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities, including direct repair work, equipment maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Operate and monitor complex Computerized Building Management Systems to diagnose and resolve issues quickly.
  • Collaborate with local utility companies, contractors, and sub-contractors to ensure reliable services to tenants and passengers.
  • Document calls, incidents, and maintenance activities, providing accurate and timely information to stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 8 years of journey-level work experience and training with maintenance equipment.
  • Supervisory experience and ability to lead a team of maintenance personnel.
  • Knowledge of safety rules and hazards, with the ability to apply accident prevention measures.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to obtain a Commercial Driver's License, Class B (if required).
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including days, afternoons, graveyard, weekends, and holidays.

Working Conditions:

This role requires working in a fast-paced environment with moderate to heavy physical activity, including pushing, pulling, or lifting heavy weights. You will also be exposed to disagreeable elements such as dust, fumes, noise, dampness, cold, heat, chemicals, or grease. Considerable stress may be experienced under emergency situations, time constraints, and possible injury or death.

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary range: $33.40 - $37.11 per hour.

  • Up to $4,000 tuition reimbursement annually.
