Job Summary

Amergis is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team in a school setting. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality physical therapy services to students, developing and implementing individualized plans of care, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Student Evaluations and Therapy Services: Perform thorough evaluations of students to identify physical therapy needs, develop and implement individualized plans of care, and provide physical therapy services to students.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and other therapists, to ensure comprehensive care and coordinate services.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress, including clinical and progress summaries, and submit reports as required.
  • Supervision and Training: Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants and provide training and guidance as needed.
  • Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and professional standards, and participate in quality assurance activities to ensure high-quality care.
Requirements
  • Education and Licensure: Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of practice, graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy.
  • Experience: One year of prior professional Physical Therapy experience preferred.
  • Skills and Abilities: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in a team environment, and proficiency in the English language.
